About Ducksboard

Ducksboard was founded in 2011 on the principle that function and form
are basically the same thing.

Founders, Diego Mariño, Jan Urbański and Aitor Guevara joined forces that
spring and in a nine-month frenzy of mojitos, wireframes and code,
Ducksboard went live.

Diego Mariño

You’ll find Diego’s fingerprints on just about every aspect of Ducksboard (except the code). He founded Abiquo (cloud infrastructure management) when he was just 23 and grew it from two to forty employees, opening offices in London and San Francisco and raising more than $15 million in funding. He also makes a mean tuna and ketchup macaroni.

Jan Urbański

An alumnus of the University of Warsaw and the Google Summer of Code, Jan was the Core Team Leader at Flumotion (streaming video pioneers). He is a regular contributor to the core PostgreSQL codebase and a speaker at the largest PostgreSQL conference (PGCon). Jan spends an unhealthy amount of time playing Starcraft.
aitor

Aitor Guevara

Aitor also put in time at Flumotion as Web Team Leader. He was responsible for the statistics gathering and analysis of a platform serving over 700 million sessions per month. His team managed every step of the process, from maintenance to visualization. Aitor studied computer science and advanced mojito design at the Open University of Catalonia.
